Amber Run begeistern mit einem neuen Musikvideo zur aktuellen Single “Neon Circus”. Und das hat es wahrlich in sich: im Musikvideo zu “Neon Circus” paart die Indie-Rock-Band aus Nottingham, UK Showmanship vom Feinsten mit psychedelischen und kraftvollen Einlagen zu einem durchweg packenden Gesamtwerk. Das Musikvideo zu “Neon Circus” gibt gleichzeitig Ausblick auf das kommende dritte Album “ Philophobia”, das am 27. September erscheint, sowie auf die anstehende Europa- UK- und US-Tournee im Herbst.
Zur Entstehungsgeschichte des Musikvideos erklärt Regisseur Sam Kinsella: “The video for Neon Circus shows two contrasting perceptions – the mundane, subdued performance with static lights and surveillance-like camera angles, contrasted against the moving camera, lights and much more energetic performance. This portrays how we as people can act subdued, or conform when we know that people or society are watching us, instilling some kind of paralysis by fear; versus the fearless, expressive performance bursting with energy and colours.”
Und auch Frontmann Joe Keogh nimmt kein Blatt vor den Mund wenn es um den Inhalt und die Bedeutung von „Neon Circus“ geht: “Neon Circus is a song about getting the fuck off your phone. Nothing meaningful happens with your head tilted downwards towards your black mirror. It’s a song that is a call to action to be there with us.”
